Right of withdrawal and return of products
Principle
In accordance with the provisions of Article L. 221-18 of the Consumer Code, concerning products marketed through the website, apart from the exceptions listed below, the Customer has a right of withdrawal for fourteen days from from the date of delivery. The Customer may, within fourteen days following the delivery of his order, and concerning products subject to the right of withdrawal, exercise it by notifying his desire to withdraw.
On the other hand, the Customer does not benefit from the right of withdrawal for certain products, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 221-8 of the Consumer Code. These include the supply of goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, the supply of goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or protection of health.
The Customer is informed that food products, due to their nature, are likely to deteriorate if they are stored in damp conditions and L’Atelier des Lacs cannot guarantee the storage conditions at the Customer’s premises.
Consequently, any damaged product cannot be returned.
Terms
Prior to any return of a product, the Customer must notify his intention to withdraw by using the contact form on the website.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L 221-23 of the Consumer Code, the Customer must return his product without undue delay and, at the latest, within fourteen days of the communication of his decision to withdraw. The costs of returning the products are the responsibility of the Customer. The transport of the products thus returned is the responsibility of the Customer.
The products must be returned in their original packaging, perfectly intact. Upon receipt of the returned products,
L’Atelier des Lacs will judge the perfect condition of the said products. The return will not be accepted if the products have been unpacked or damaged, making them unfit for sale. These products will then be returned to the customer, at his own risk, but at the expense of Atelier des Lacs, without further compensation for the Customer or right to reimbursement.
When the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal, described above, are met by the Customer, the latter is entitled to reimbursement of all sums paid, including the outward delivery costs paid when ordering, at the later within 14 days from the knowledge by L’Atelier des Lacs of the Customer’s decision to withdraw.
L’Atelier des Lacs will not be required to reimburse the additional costs if the Customer has expressly chosen a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery method offered. Insofar as the delivery costs are fixed at a flat rate, regardless of the number of products delivered, L’Atelier des Lacs will not reimburse the outward delivery costs in the event of partial withdrawal relating to part of the products ordered.
